Demonstration for Gaza: Trafalgar Square. 17/1/09
Sunday, January 18th, 2009The third week of demonstrations for Gaza was held in Trafalgar Square.
There where around 10 thousand protesters in attendance. According to the Stop the War Coalition. “To raise awareness of the terrible war crimes Israel are committing.”
Unfortunately scenes of further disruption and damage of businesses premises marred the event. A spokesman for Stop the War Coalition said, “ Starbucks is a very successful company and will continue to trade.”
