Surin, Thailand
Thursday, September 10th, 2009After leaving Cambodia I decided to come to Surin in Thailand. The area is a border province with Cambodia. I am finding it a rather strange experience as I can talk to people here in Khmer, but not as strange as they find talking to me in Khmer!!!
The original idea was to come and do a story here, but in typical fashion my contact went to Bangkok as I was coming to Surin. Despite all the planning I am not suprised this happened, it often does and I am enjoying the time here to relax.
